Beautiful pieces of bright cobalt blue natural sea glass have been set into fine silver bezels. I have hung them onto tiny flower shaped silver bowls and made them with a sterling silver stud fitting.
The blue is a very bright colour known as cobalt blue. The sea glass was originally found along the dramatic coast in the north east of the UK and will have been tumbling around for many years until smooth and slightly frosted.
The silver bowls are made with a process known as water casting where molten silver is dropped into cold water and as it hits the water it forms into delicate little petal like bowls. They make the perfect base for stud earrings.
The sea glass pieces are 1.5 cm long and 1 cm wide and the total drop is on the earrings is 2.5 cm.
These are a very simple design made to be worn at anytime.
Your earrings will arrive wrapped in aqua sparkly tissue paper and a matching aqua organza bag.
